FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
FILM SCREENING + Q&A
A
unique conversation with students which opens doors for a support
network, addresses barriers of academic success, leads to understanding,
and guides community members and parents to become better communicators
with today's teenagers.
"My
Baltimore" features students and their parents expressing their social
and emotional selves while trying to survive and/or thrive living in
Baltimore City. We are pleased to highlight students willing to expose
their vulnerable past and present adverse childhood experiences, and
parents willing to listen to their children. Through talking out their
social and emotional needs, students become aware of their traumas,
their stresses, and their mental states of being.
Watch a
transformation of self-awareness and healing as these participants learn
more about their relationships at home and about themselves.
