Dorothy P. Stanley Scholarship Festival
Dance Concert

One Great Art, Many Voices . . .

The Morgan State University Modern Dance Ensemble will host the 38th Annual Dorothy P. Stanley Scholarship Fund Festival Dance Concert. 

The Festival concert is a celebration of dance with performances by national professional companies including Atlanta Dance Connection and Nona Lee along with area companies Morton Street and KeurKhaleyi African Dance.  In addition to professional companies college/university, high school, and community organization teachers and students are featured. 

This year's Festival includes a special Sunday matinee featuring liturgical dance and Dance Baltimore.  On Friday and Saturday (November 7 and 8--from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day), dance workshops and master classes will be taught by locally- and nationally-renown teachers, artists and professionals.  The dance genres are: African, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Liturgical.  Registration is $30 per group and $10 per group member for the day/$15 per group member for both days.  The individual cost is $10 per class.  For additional performance and dance workshop information, contact Dr. Glendola Mills or Aaron Lewis, 443-885-3463glendola.mills@ morgan.edu/ aaron.lewis@morgan.edu.
