Theatre Morgan presents
Script and Music by Joseph Edwards
Directed by Shirley Basfield Dunlap

A successful lawyer takes a case defending an insurance provider whose ancestor company insured enslaved Africans.   He encounters an Ancient Ancestor Spirit with a mission to redirect his lost soul, but what happens when divine intervention meets denial and arrogance?  What happens to a man's world when he discovers that his true identity and his true love are both bound to the struggle for liberation.

Reparations is a unique production that blends drama, comedy, music and dance to make the concept and issue of reparations "relatable."

The goal of Reparations is to use the arts to encourage dialogue around reparations and reconciliation in an engaging, entertaining and authentic way.  The story, music and dance are sure to be a bold theatrical experience.

Note the Opening Night ticket includes a post-performance reception.

Student matinee performance (April 16th at 10:30 AM):  $10 for all seats.  Please call the box office to reserve space for your group.  443-885-4440.
