Spring 2011 Opera Gala

The Morgan State University Opera Workshop (MSUOW), in conjunction with the Morgan State University Choir and the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra, presents its annual Opera Gala.

This year's program features the classically-trained voices of the MSUOW accompanied by the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra (Julien Benichou, Director) performing operatic selections from Leoncavallo, Puccini, Tchaikovsky and Verdi.

The Gala also features a special performance by virtuoso, Chester Burke performing the Rachmaninoff Piano Concert No.2 and the renowned Morgan State University Choir (Dr. Eric Conway, Director) performing special selections.
